Classification of Paper Cups

Paper cups are categorized into single-sided PE-coated and double-sided PE-coated cups.

Single-sided PE-coated paper cups: Cups made from paper with a PE (polyethylene) coating on one side are known as single-PE cups (most standard market cups and promotional cups fall into this category). They are characterized by a smooth PE coating on the interior surface that holds the liquid.

Double-sided PE-coated paper cups: Cups made from paper with a PE coating on both sides are known as double-PE cups. They are characterized by PE coatings on both the interior and exterior surfaces.

Paper cup size: Cup sizes are measured in ounces (oz). Common examples found on the market include 9 oz, 6.5 oz, and 7 oz cups.

Ounce (oz): The ounce is a unit of weight; in this context, 1 ounce corresponds to the weight of 28.34 milliliters of water.

This can be expressed as: 1 oz = 28.34 ml = 28.34 g.
Common types of eco-friendly paper cups include disposable cups, promotional cups, reception cups, beverage cups, milk tea cups, and tasting cups.
